King David Street 8 – Hotel and Residences
Location: Jerusalem city center, between the Mamilla center and the Independence Park
Built area: 4,000 square meters
Situated at the entrance to king David street is a historic triangular building designed in the twenties by Hacker -Yalin architectural firm. The building is characterized by a tapered floor plan ending in a rounded corner. Our architectural intervention was to add additional floors with a modern façade of glass and sliding shutters cladded with ultra-thin stone. This addition emphasizes the differences between old and new.
