Bikur Cholim Hospital

  • Public Buildings

Location: City center, Jerusalem
Built area: 45,315 square meters
The Bikur Cholim hospital is a 19th century building, characterized by a thin zinc turret above an impressive stone entrance. The building was damaged by later additions and the large back garden was turned into a parking lot. The project seeks to restore the monument to its original historical state. Along with the restoration, an adjacent medical center with commerce and residences around an urban square, will be built.
